These brands include producers and retailers across fashion and beauty
You don’t need me telling you how difficult or discouraging, shopping without pointers can be. At the junction of a shopping hiatus that finds you wondering and questioning where and how you can acquire certain items for a particular event, at a particular price and for a particular day, resides this list in the form of a Google sheets document that’ll only get bigger as the days go by.
This list is not a manual to educate you on how to responsibly consume fashion and beauty products. It is simply a list that serves as a starter on your shopping journey - without you physically moving aka shopping from your phone or laptop.
Major categories within the list include: clothing, shoes, bags, accessories (i.e. sunglasses, turbans etc.), beauty (i.e. hair, lip glosses etc.), thrifts, fabrics and combination (brands that sell across categories). Each category, as indicated in the sheets, lists out producers and retailers.

While the list is a great idea, it is important to note down a number of things before you proceed to make use of it:
- This is a growing list. If you think a brand should be listed that isn’t, send a message to @sphauteon on Instagram or Twitter.
- SphauteOn and its contributors MAY not have shopped from all brands. They are aware of people who have but ultimately, you’re shopping at your own risk - kindly share your experience.
- Some retail brands sell designer dupes, replicas, knockoffs, counterfeits. You decide.
- The list combines fast fashion, contemporary and premium brands. It does NOT feature designer (luxury/couture) brands.
- Most brands listed operate out of Lagos
